The 20^th Annual CCGC Family Fun and Fitness Ski, Skate, Board and Swim Day at King Pine Ski Area in Madison, New Hampshire was held on Sunday, February 12, 2012. 

On the border of Maine and New Hampshire, tucked in between the foothills of the White Mountains and an impressive chain of ponds is a prefect family ski area known as King Pine. The Cumberland County Gymnastics Center, located in South Portland, Maine, under the leadership of Mark and Dina Benson, organized this great day.

Each year for the past 20 years between 30 and 100 fun-loving gymnasts from CCGC and their family and friends, who also happen to be winter sports enthusiasts, meet for an exciting day of adventure. Young or old, novice or expert, brave or timid, it matters little.  Fun, fitness family and friends make the day. The staff at King Pine most likely were gymnasts as youngsters themselves for they always bend over backwards to be sure the day is all that anyone can hope for.

This year we had 30 people join us for a day in winter wonderland.  Seven of the folks had also been with us 20 years ago on the very first CCGC King Pine Family Day.  We were thrilled to celebrate our 20th year at King Pine.  Many thanks to the fine staff at King Pine who helped to make the day special.
